Dentures

FULL AND PARTIAL DENTURES, NATURAL AND AESTHETIC DENTURES

Full dentures and partial dentures at Didsbury Dental Practice, Manchester

A tooth or teeth can be lost for many reasons, such as through gum disease, decay or injury, and can make life difficult and lead to a loss of self-confidence. Dentures can replace your missing teeth and recapture your smile and could be the ideal solution for you.

Modern dentures can be made to closely resemble your natural teeth to enhance your smile. Dentures improve the chewing ability and speech while providing support for the facial muscles and prevent the face from sagging. Dentures can truly change your life for the better!

What denture options are available?

There are two main types of dentures:

Conventional full dentures – these are worn by patients missing all of their teeth in one or both arches.

Partial dentures – used to replace a missing tooth or teeth. They can be fabricated completely out of acrylic or metal frames with acrylic on top. Partial dentures offer a removable alternative to bridges.
